Three year Certified Transactional Analysis Course
Entry criteria:
To be eligible for this course applicants must have:
1. Attended a Transactional Analysis 101 course or passed written TA 101exam
2.
Either an undergraduate qualification in a helping profession, normally at
Bachelors level;
Or Recognition of Prior Learning; life experience outlined in a document which shows how the applicant’s experience has provided them experience/skills training equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a helping profession.
3. Access to clients
either with a verified relationship (voluntary or paid) with an agency and guaranteed access to clients;
or with membership of a professional association related to counselling or psychotherapy with a relevant code of ethics, covered by indemnity insurance and with an established private practice.
4. Completed a Treaty of Waitangi workshop. This could also be completed by end of first year of the training course.
5. Completed human development education either as standalone course or as part of prior learning at undergraduate level 5. This could also be completed by the end of the first year of the training course.
A relevant CV must be submitted together with the names of two referees who will be contacted.
Applicants who meet these criteria will be interviewed to assess their potential
to make congruent contact and build a therapeutic
relationship.
