The 3-year course covers 4 aspects:

Two full days training each month.
plus 2 hour supervision sessions fortnightly in groups of one, two or three. It is also expected that trainees will attend other optional training events, conferences, etc.

In addition trainees are expected to have their own individual or group psychotherapy, usually for one hour per week at a fee negotiated with their therapist.

Examinations are conducted internationally by the Training and Certification Council of Transactional Analysts (C.T.A). Find their fees on their website.
The training follows the official I.T.A.A. syllabus with modifications negotiated with the training group and satisfies the requirements for training hours and supervision to sit the international C.T.A. examination.
Successful completion of this examination will allow the graduate to apply to the Psychotherapists Board of Aotearoa New Zealand for registration as a psychotherapist.
The course is also intended to satisfy the training and personal psychotherapy requirements of the N.Z. Association of Psychotherapists (NZAP).
The course also fulfils most of the requirements for an M.Sc. (psychotherapy) from Middlesex University, London.
